Canada Reception Centre
The program calls for the alteration and addition to this 1952 aircraft hangar, located at the Ottawa International Airport. The Canada Reception Centre is the reception terminal for Heads of State and Canadian Dignitaries, as well as a conference facility for the Federal Government. Significant technological problems were addressed, together with security issues and audio-visual systems requirements. Costs and a changing security environment forced a major rethinking of the requirements.
